Audio Recording II Week 7
All the other random processing that you will likely use day in and day out in your careers are covered in Week 7. If that sounds absurd, that's because it is. Who knows what kind of crazy processing you will use for any individual project. I don't know and neither do you. Again, the most important thing for you to get is that you should have a concept for your mix before you start your processing and before you ever touch a fader or even a microphone.
But if what you're hearing in your head is a couple of half steps lower than what you've got recorded, or is filter swept back and forth over time, or phases in and out, or is played backward, or just plain sounds crazy... then you are going to need to know some of the tools available to get you those sounds.
This week can be considered an introduction to some of those tools.
