Born and raised in Raleigh. I’m a commercial real estate broker with Maverick Partners and the third generation owner of Peoples Tire & Auto. Most people call me Peeps.
Three Generations, One Shop
My grandfather, Darrell Peoples, opened Peoples Tire & Auto in Raleigh in 1964. My dad took it over in 1998, and I took it over in 2018. I still own it.
Owning a shop means dealing with everything a commercial property can throw at you: zoning, flood maps, parking, taxes, insurance, and what the place would be worth if you ever sold. I got into brokerage because I was already living those questions as an owner.
Today I help owners, investors, and tenants buy, sell, and lease commercial property across the Triangle. Automotive real estate is what I know best, and I work every other property type too.
Darrell Peoples opens Peoples Tire & Auto in Raleigh.
My dad takes over the shop.

I serve on the executive board. It keeps me close to what’s being planned and built in Midtown before it shows up in the news.
NC State University
Bachelor’s degree in business management. I went to school in Raleigh and never left.
